  • Gordon R. Howard Museum volunteers greet visitors and provide general information about the house and its furnishings. Read More→
  • Beauty Buddies provide compassion and companionship to clients, and give their clients something to look forward to when their Beauty Buddy and Beauty Professional come to spend time with them. Read More→
  • American Red Cross Volunteers are needed as Preparedness Education Presenters, Emergency Lodging Vendors, Trainee Disaster Action Team Responders, and Management Coordinators. Read More→
  • Gift Shop Volunteer provides friendly, courteous service to cancer.  patients and their families, staff and visitors by assisting the Gift Shop Manager in daily operations. Read More→
  • Friendly Visitors provide companionship for homebound seniors. Read More→
  • BTAC volunteers are vital to its social services mission. Read More→
  • Administrative volunteers assist in fundraisers in the office and in the community. Read More→
  • Marketeer volunteers provide free grocery shopping services for home-bound seniors. Read More→
  • Joslyn Cyber/Café volunteers provide computer instructional and partnering services. Read More→
  • Host/hostess volunteers perform a wide range of duties in Joslyn's MARY STOICA CAFÉ. Read More→
  • Garden Assistant volunteers assist in planting, watering, pruning, weeding, composting, and overall care of George Washington Elementary School's botanical garden. Read More→
  • Travel Office volunteers represent City of Burbank Travel Program for those 55+ by working in the travel office and by attending trips as a Tour Guide. Read More→

ONGOING EVENT

Ukulele Class

Wednesdays at 3pm: Learn how to play. Each session is 2 hours. Must have your own Soprano ukulele. For those 55+ at the Joslyn Adult Center, 1301 W. Olive, Burbank (818) 238-5353. Fee is $3 per class ($2 with BSAC).
